MediaTek Filogic 615 infuses exclusive, patented technologies and offers comprehensive Wi-Fi 6 Wave 1+ core feature coverage. The advanced chip includes a multi-protocol baseband, integrated MCU, and a simultaneous dual-band architecture and a dedicated RF receiver with ‘Zero-Wait DFS channel monitoring’ that brings faster, exceptionally reliable and easier-to-use connectivity. When paired with a MediaTek Network Processing Unit or other application processor the platform can deliver multi-gigabit Wi-Fi speeds using up to 4x4 antenna.

Patented features include MediaTek ESR (Enhanced Spatial Reuse) technology that improves the efficiency and capacity in a wireless network; and an enhanced internal FEM that improves connection efficiency by 60%, supplies better UL coverage versus competitor alternatives.

MediaTek Filogic 615 supports all optional Wi-Fi 6 Wave 1 features, including 1024-QAM, UL/DL MU-MIMO, spatial reuse and long-range DCM.
