MediaTek MT9630 is an entry-level 4K smart display SoC designed for smart home display devices, conference rooms, educational environments, smart projection and other home, commercial and business applications. MT9630 integrates a 64-bit quad-core CPU, dedicated graphics engine, and highly capable 4K video and display processing hardware.

Dedicated 4K Video Decoding Engine

MT9630 can decode 4K60 video streams using common multimedia formats such as HEVC, VP9 and AV1.

Real-time AI Image Quality Enhancement

MediaTek’s AI image quality enhancement technology (AI-PQ) can recognize faces and scenes in real-time, automatically adjusting the image color saturation, contrast, clarity, and performing noise reduction. MediaTek AI audio technology (AI-AQ) can also intelligently recognize scenes in real-time and apply optimal sound settings. Together, these two AI-enhancement technologies ensure a premium audio-visual experience.

Integrated Voice Assistant Support

As industry leaders in voice assistant devices (VADs), brands can add up to four directional microphones and use MediaTek’s AI voice technologies for integrated voice assistants, allowing users to directly engage with their smart TV, controlling its functions hand-free.

Entertainment Experience

The MT9630 platform supports up to three HDMI 2.1a compatible ports, as well as Dolby Atmos surround sound, and complete global HDR standards.
