MediaTek MT9669 is a versatile smart display SoC for high-end display devices with up to 4K resolution. It can support displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate and features 120Hz motion compensation technology, meeting the needs of smart home display devices, large conference displays, educational interaction devices, smart projection, smart desktop display equipment and other home, commercial, professional or educational use cases.
The MT9669 combines a high-performance mix of multi-core CPU and GPU, plus dedicated AI processing unit (APU) in a single chip, enabling brand manufacturers of smart display devices to create novel, richly featured and highly desirable products that integrate seamlessly into modern smart homes.

MT9669 supports hardware-assisted 4K video decoding of common HEVC and VP9 codecs, plus the latest AV1 codec now used by global streaming video services.
Premium AI-Image Quality Technology Suite
MediaTek AI-Picture Quality (AI-PQ) uses the integrated AI processing unit to perform real-time face and scene recognition to intelligently identify how to best optimize the video stream. Working in conjunction with MediaTek MiraVision image quality engine, it actively enhances the visuals in real-time by intelligently adjusting a wide range video stream factors, including color, brightness, contrast, sharpness, and dynamic range to deliver an incredible visual experience.
Voice Assistant Technology & Smart Home Integration
As an industry leader in voice assistant devices (VAD), the MT9669 can be equipped with up to four directional microphones to support directional AI voice technology. The MT9669 is capable of ultra-low power standby with fast keyword trigger and wake-up, allowing brand manufacturers to directly integrate voice assistants to allow intelligent and convenient hands-free interaction. Voice assistant capability not only offers users directly control over smart display devices, but also other inter-connected home IoT devices through spoken commands, creating a fully integrated smart home experience.
